Valentines Day

Blood red is too typical, Marsala is the new red

When was the last time I was out on a date for Valentines? Let me see… College years probably? That was like 8 years ago or so, but it doesn’t mean I wasn’t out for a date just because I could not spend the Hearts Day as it is. Seriously, I am not being cheesy today just for the sake of the occasion, and I’m not even inspired to talk about it (haha! =)

What I would like to discuss instead is how Marsala could be your perfect choice of color this Valentines Day. Blood red is too typical, Marsala is the new red; thanks to Pantone Color authority for making it more popular last year. So give it a try and ditch your bright cerise dress this weekend for a change. Play with blush tones and go for a group date with your circle of friends –  that’s one fail-safe tip to get away from heartaches over rush romance =)
